The role of external designers and agencies

Compliance with the Code of Ethics and the Code of Conduct is an Associate obligation. Where marketing or promotional documents are compliant, Approval granted is for that individual Associate's use, it is not general document approval and cannot be transferred to others.

If an Associate employs the services of a non-Associate to produce marketing or promotional material, it is the responsibility of the commissioning Associate to ensure that their use of the Institute's intellectual property complies with the Code of Conduct.

External agencies and designers are encouraged to check with their clients that they have sought approval.
